DayStrong Tightening Rolls for Superba Heat Set Machines

DayStrong manufactures two Superba Tightening Rolls for Superba Heat Set machines. Both process all types of fiber — nylon, acrylic, wool, polypropylene and polyester, including PET.

These rolls provide durable, reliable service in all conditions, with service life ranging from three months to over nine months.

Various factors affect roll life. They include the condition of side plates, lamellas, bearings, counter bands, steel belts, pressure settings, fiber type, the bulk of fiber being processed and temperature.

We manufacture our Superba tightening rolls to perform in all types of carpet manufacturing conditions. They resist heat buildup, abrasion, tearing and fiber finish chemicals.

Orange end caps — 80 Shore A nitrile rubber resists heat buildup and seals at low pressure.
Gray main body — 66 Shore A, nitrile rubber engineered for outstanding abrasion, chemical tear and heat resistance

Gray end caps — 90 Shore A end caps resist wear and tear from side plates and lamellas on standard Superba machine.
